I’m the founder of CarlottaBon, and this story starts with me and my friends—women spending time together, talking, sharing life, and slowly realizing we all had something important in common.
We are all living the menstrual cycle.
At first, it was not something we talked about openly. Like many women, we felt changes in our bodies and emotions throughout the menstrual cycle, but we didn’t always have the words for it. Some days we felt strong and focused, other days tired, emotional, or quiet. Little by little, one simple question entered our conversations:
“Where are you in your cycle?”
That question changed the way we talked to each other. It became a new language. We didn’t need long explanations anymore. We could simply name where we were in the menstrual cycle, and everyone understood. It helped us share how we felt in a natural and respectful way.
As these conversations grew, I realized something was missing. We needed a tool to help us understand the menstrual cycle and to make sense of what we were feeling day after day. Something simple, personal, and flexible.
That’s when I created the Menstrual Cycle Bullet Journal.
I wanted a bullet journal that didn’t just track dates, but that helped women truly understand their menstrual cycle. I was inspired by the freedom of a Bullet Journal—a format that allows space, creativity, and personal expression. The Menstrual Cycle Bullet Journal follows a Bullet Journal approach, where there are no strict rules, only guidance and space to explore.
Inside the Menstrual Cycle Bullet Journal, there is a theory part dedicated to explaining the menstrual cycle and its different phases. This section helps understand what is happening hormonally and emotionally during each phase of the menstrual cycle. It gives clarity and context, so women can recognize their experiences and feel more connected to their bodies.
Alongside the theory, there is a lot of space to write. Space to note thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, energy levels, and daily experiences connected to the menstrual cycle. This is where the Bullet Journal method becomes essential. Writing freely helps turn information into real understanding.
For us, this bullet journal became our bridge.
A bridge between theory and daily life.
A bridge between understanding the menstrual cycle and feeling it.
A bridge between women sharing the same experience.
By using the Menstrual Cycle Bullet Journal regularly, we started to notice patterns in our menstrual cycle. We understood why certain moments felt easier and others more challenging. The bullet journal helped us learn when to slow down, when to rest, and when to use our energy more consciously.
The Menstrual Cycle Bullet Journal is not about perfection or productivity. It is about awareness. Some days you write a lot. Some days only a few words. Both are enough. Like any Bullet Journal, it adapts to you and to your menstrual cycle.
What began as something personal between friends became something we wanted to share. Many women are searching for a better way to understand their menstrual cycle, and this bullet journal offers a simple and supportive starting point.
Today, when someone asks, “Where are you in your cycle?”, it feels normal. It feels supportive. It feels honest.
At Carlottabon, the Menstrual Cycle Bullet Journal brings together theory, writing space, and the Bullet Journal method to support a deeper connection with the menstrual cycle.
We all have something in common.
And the Menstrual Cycle Bullet Journal is our bridge.
